Terel Jones

Terel "Hitman" Jones meets Arlo Collier for the 145 lb amateur MMA title at Crash Combat 8. Born in California and raised mostly in Phoenix, Arizona, he moved to Wichita around 2019. He was raised primarily by his mother and helped bring up a younger brother and sister. He trains at 316 MMA in Wichita under head coach David Rickels, with Cody Bittler on jiu-jitsu and Chris Harris on MMA, alongside a deep room of smaller fighters. Already a multiple-time amateur champion, he frames belts as a byproduct: "I mostly like to fight the best guys that I can find." He specifically wanted this matchup as a measuring stick for his wrestling, noting the first time he faced a wrestler it went badly and the second went better — this is the next test.
