Houston "The Assassin" Alexander is a former UFC light heavyweight and an Omaha institution, now fighting bare-knuckle out of B&B Boxing Club. He walked into the Octagon wearing a Nebraska hat before putting Omaha on your gear was a tradition, and away from the ring he is "Coach Shock" — founder of the Houston Alexander Foundation, a radio host, and a hip-hop history educator who tours schools. At New Year's Knockouts in January 2026 he went five full rounds of bare-knuckle at age 53, took a unanimous decision over Brandon Johnson with a split lip, and called out Jake Paul on the mic. His own one-line career summary: "I never started anything I couldn't finish."
